ALL TRIALS ARE ON SUNDAY THE 11TH OF APRIL AT RANGITOTO COLLEGE. TIMES BELOW:
Boys U17: 9am – 10:30am
Boys U19: 10:30am – 12pm
Girls U17: 12:30pm – 2pm
Girls U19: 2pm – 3:30pm
Boys and Girls U21: 3:30pm – 5pm
Senior Men and Women: 5pm – 7pm
Trial Cost: $10 per person
IPC Information
The Volleyball New Zealand Inter-Provincial Championships will be held at the ASB Sports Centre in Wellington from the 5th to the 7th of June. Plan on flying in on the evening of the 4th of June and flying out on the latest possible flight on the 7th of June (flights no earlier than 6pm).
UNIFORMS
You may use your previous black playing top or purchase a new one. From this IPC forward we will also require all IPC players to have a Harbour Volleyball hoodie.
PAYMENT
Each athlete is to book their own flights and pay for their own meals.The rest of the trips costs, including uniforms, gym hire, entry fee, admin and accommodation, will be covered in the fees. The budget with fees will come out shortly, but please expect the cost to be approximately between $550 and $650, depending on whether or not you require a new playing top. The final number will be confirmed at trials.
Payments will be made in 2 installments. Installment 1 will be 50% of the fee and is due a week after selections. You must make this payment to confirm your place on the team. Installment 2 will be due 2 weeks after Installment 1.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Players must have New Zealand citizenship. New Zealand citizenship means the person holds or has issued in their name, at least one of the following documents:
NZ Passport
NZ Certificate of Citizenship
NZ Birth Certificate
Or holds a current NZ Resident Visa
AGE GROUP CRITERIA
Under 17 Grades – Can’t turn 17 this year Players must be born on or after January 1, 2005
Under 19 Grades – Can’t turn 19 this year Players must be born on or after January 1, 2003
Under 21 Grades – Can’t turn 21 this year
Players must be born on or after January 1, 2001
Senior Grades – OPEN age group
Athletes are expected to play in their age group. Exceptions should only occur if all of the following stakeholders see that playing in a higher age group is in the best interest of the athlete’s long-term development and welfare:

A PLAYERS ASSOCIATION
Player’s may only represent one Association. A players Association is defined by the following:
Firstly – the Association their Secondary School is affiliated to; or
Secondly – the Association that the athlete resides in, according to their residential address and not their caregivers. e.g. the Association of an athletes tertiary institution
INTERNATIONAL PLAYER (IP)
Teams may register one (1) International Player (IP) in the U17, U19 and U21 grades only.
An International Player is a player who does not have New Zealand citizenship (as defined in the Player Eligibility section above).
