2019 Volleyball NZ IPC Beach Champs Expression of interest.

Playing dates are:
January 21 & 22 (Tuesday and Wednesday) 2020

Venue:
Mt Maunganui Main Beach

Technical Meeting:
8am Tuesday Jan 21, in front of the Commons Ave Toliet block

The age groups at the NZ Provincial Beach Volleyball Champs are alligned with the International age groups. We appreciate that as this event is so early in the year that these groups can be difficult to grasp.

Under 15 (an athlete cannot turn 15 in 2020) – Born in 2006 or later

Under 17 (an athlete cannot turn 17 in 2020) – Born in 2004 or later

Under 19 (an athlete cannot turn 19 in 2020) – Born in 2002 or later

Again this is an EOI but costs will be similar to last year – last years costs are detailed below:

Full package – Transport, Accom, Playing Top, Meals, Coaches and Entry Fee – $330

Transport, Accom, Meals, Coaches and Entry Fee – $290

Accom, Kit, Meals, Coaches and Entry Fee – $270

Kit, Meals, Coaches and Entry Fee – $190

Meals, Coaches and Entry Fee – $150

Each athlete must enter individually. You will be asked to enter your preferred partner for the tournament, however Harbour Volleyball may in some cases match up players in order to put our most competitive teams forward. If you do not yet have a partner in mind, please enter “no partner” when asked for your preferred partner and we will partner you up with another player. Partnerships will be confirmed no later than January 19th.

Coaches and training camp: We are fortunate to have some of the best coaches in NZ coaching again for the 2019 Beach IPC Champs: Jo Waller, Gina Dymand, Luis Paulo and Rob Tarr. Our coaches will be there the whole tournament helping our teams along and will also be running training session in the week before the tournament.

Cost: We are offering multiple packages with varying prices. Harbour Volleyball playing tops are mandatory. If you have one from previous years you do not need to purchase a new one.

Registration closes on the 15th of January. The registration will ask for your preferred partner’s name. Please be sure that your partner is eligible to play in your age group before registering. Final teams will be announced on the 17th of January.
