U15 IPC Trials and Information – Trials set for the 17th of November

This years U15 IPC is being held in Napier from the 15th to the 17th of December. We’ll drive down in vans on the 14th and return to Auckland on the evening of the 18th.

We are looking to field 2 teams for the girls and 1 for the boys. This tournament is based on age and not your year in school.

AGE GROUP CRITERIA: Born in 2004 or later

Harbour Volleyball Trials: Sunday 17 November

Venue: Albany Junior High School

Boys – 2-4pm

Girls – 4-6pm

Trial Cost: $10

IPC Information:

All athletes that are selected for a representative team are expected to pay their fees upon selection. Please take the time to review the tournament fees below before committing to trial. If you are selected you will be asked to pay immediately in order to confirm your place on the team. If you require a payment plan please contact Rob at gdm@harbourvolleyball.co.nz 

With Uniforms: $500

Without uniform: $450

For athletes that have previously represented Harbour Volleyball they will be able to use their uniforms and therefore have a reduced fee. 

Breakdown of the trip costs: $80 van transportation and petrol, $50 uniform, $35 tournament entry fee, $250 accommodation (3 nights), $50 admin. We are not including meals in this years budget.

Tournament Venue: Pettigrew Green Arena, 480 Gloucester St, Taradale, Napier https://www.pgarena.co.nz/ 

Accommodation: The Riverbend https://riverbend.org.nz/ 

Dates: Departing Mairangi Bay mid-day on the 14th of December. Returning to Mairangi Bay late night on the 17th of December.

Tranpsort: Via 3 minivans.

There is a Womens Youth National Team open trial and selection camp for the 2020 Asian Champs taking place after the IPC in Napier on the 18th and 19th. If you are attending this trial you will need to register with VNZ here: https://www.volleyballnz.org.nz/performance/2020-youth-women-s-open-selection-camp AND IMPORTANTLY you will have to organize your own way back to Auckland.
